Pouchio
Client · Pouchio
A nicotine pouch discovery platform: scan a can, build your Pouch DNA and get ranked matches from a verified catalogue.
Problem
Pouch users choose between hundreds of brands, strengths and flavours with little reliable information, and often end up with the wrong product. Pouchio needed a catalogue people could trust and a way to turn personal taste into recommendations.
What we built
We built a Laravel API on PostgreSQL with vector search, catalogue imports, ratings, scan recognition and a guided onboarding that creates each user's Pouch DNA. A Next.js web app adds search, comparisons, saved pouches and ranked DNA matches, and a Filament back office runs brands, products, scans and analytics.
Outcome
Users go from a scan or a short onboarding to a ranked list of matches, and the team curates the catalogue and recommendation quality from one admin instead of spreadsheets.
